Brittany McNabb, CDC

I am a Special Education teacher at Mount Pleasant Elementary School. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education from Middle Tennessee State University, specializing in Severe and Profound Disabilities.

I am passionate about creating a safe, welcoming classroom where every student feels valued, supported, and celebrated. I enjoy helping my students develop academic, communication, social, and independent living skills while recognizing the unique strengths and personality of each child. I believe every student can learn and grow when provided with patience, encouragement, and the right support.

I started teaching Special Education in 2006! I graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a B.A. in Dance and completed the teacher certification program at Chapman University in Sacramento, CA. I received my Special Education Certification at Middle Tennessee State University.

I moved to Spring Hill in 2006 from Northern California. I live in Spring Hill, TN with family. I am excited to run the MPES Theatre Club every year!

I look forward to another wonderful year at MPES and the opportunity to grow and learn with the students, teachers, and parents!

I started teaching at MPES in January 2022. I received my Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Health from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. I received my Special Education degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin, TN. I was born and raised in Columbia, TN but moved away in 2006. I returned to Columbia in 2021. I love teaching and look forward to another great year here at MPES!!

Bethany Butt, Speech

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist providing services to the students at Mount Pleasant. I have a Bachelors Degree from Freed-Hardeman University and a Masters Degree from Alabama A&M. I am a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). My hobbies include spending time with my family, traveling and reading. 

Alexandra Morrison, Speech

I am a Speech Language Pathologist providing services to students in the Maury County Public Schools. After working in the medical field for over 20 years, I made the change to the school system in 2023, where I enjoy working with students of all age groups.
