I began teaching at Mt. Pleasant Elementary in 1999. I have taught first, second, and fourth grades. My higher education began at Walker College in Jasper, AL where I received my Associate in Science degree. Next, I attended The University of Mississippi to complete my Bachelor of Arts in Education degree. After teaching at MPES for a few years, I returned to college at MTSU to seek a Master’s in Education degree. I consider myself to be a lifelong learner and chose to, once again, return to a college classroom in 2012. I completed the Education Specialist’s Degree program at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA in 2014.
I live in Lawrenceburg, TN. In my spare time, I enjoy camping and spending time with my two dogs.
