I am excited to be a PreK teacher at MPES. I graduated with my BS and Masters degree from the University of North Alabama in Florence. It is a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together.
I was raised and attended school here in Mt. Pleasant. Because of that I have a great love for our school and community. I have 3 daughters: Carley, Colby, and Creslee. They keep me very busy playing soccer, softball, basketball, tumbling and dance classes. When I'm not at school I love spending time with my family and friends. I look forward to another successful school year and the opportunity to watch children learn and grow.
I grew up in Culleoka, TN, and previously taught kindergarten at Culleoka School. I earned my bachelor's degree in elementary and early childhood education from David Lipscomb University and my master's degree from Middle Tennessee State University. I am the proud mom of four wonderful sons -- Andrew, Ben, Toby, and Ryan. I enjoy reading, walking, cooking, and spending time with family. I look forward to another awesome school year of growing and learning! Thank you for sharing your precious children with me!

When she is not working at Mt. Pleasant Elementary School, Edie is spending time with her husband, Bob, and her three grandchildren. Her passion is seeing students thrive and learn new things every day. Her hobbies include gardening, reading, and traveling.
